What can you tell us about yourself ?
I am an outgoing, honest, enthusiastic person and I am in love with life. I love the feeling of needing more hours to keep doing things at the end of the day. I am a busy bee … My family always told me that I started running before I started walking … I won’t say more …

What is your professional background ?
I studied Agricultural Engineering and Environmental Chemistry, and after spending many years wandering around different companies and different cities of the Spanish geography, I’ve decided to help my family and continue with my father’s profession. We have a family business specialized in children’s clothes, absolutely nothing to do with what I studied … but I will say that I love fashion, I learned it since I was a child and now I know it all, I love being surrounded by small outfits and I like the idea of thousands of children wearing clothes that has been in my hands.

Do you have any fashion icon ?
I would say my mother, when she was very young, she was a model for Elio Berhanyer … Fashion was always at home and fashion magazines are still piled up in every corner of the house. I have to say that I do not have any kid fashion icon, but I love the entire line of Baby Dior. I’m very classical concerning children fashion, I cannot bear seeing modern designers making clothes for children that look like clown costumes.

Where do you find your inspiration for your designs ?
I travel a lot and it is in those trips where I get my inspiration from. I like looking for children stores and buying some clothes to see the confection and style everywhere I travel. It’s amazing how fashion for kids changes from one country to another.

What is your philosophy?

My philosophy of life is to live always happy no matter what, and if something stops me, I’ll get rid of it. Concerning clothes … children need to wear outfits that make them feel comfortable and happy … colorful fabrics are the key for that. More and more kids choose their own clothes, and you’d rather get into their heads.

What are your favorite music group ?
Oh my … music … what would have been my life without music. Since I was young I have attended hundreds of concerts, even when I was too young to enter, my parents would sign authorizations and try to let me in … lol … I am quite premature in this aspect.
Concerning bands I like almost all styles of music, since I was young I listened more to POP groups such as : Ash, Supergrass, Blur, Pulp, Suede, Beck and groups of Punk Rock as my beloved Screeching Weasel, Ramones, Teenage Bottlerocket, Mr. T Experience, Groovie Ghoulies, The Donnas, The Queers, Descendents, Rancid. Those two styles are my favorites, but I love all kind of music and listen from electronics to Northern Soul, at this moment of my life I identify a lot with this last one, I am attending to a lot of Northern Soul parties all around the spanish peninsula and I also have most of my friends in the Mod scene, which influences me a lot.

Many years ago I used to make a fanzine with my brother called 8 Ball, which we sold in various record stores across the peninsula and in concerts we attended. It was like the one in the past, B / W, with group interviews, concert reviews, advertising for record shops and a mini poster in the middle. It was all HardCoreMelodico & PunkRock because it was the music we were listening endlessly. I have a thousand stories from this period, it was one of the best moments of my life.

I am an eternal music lover … I must listen to music all day on …

Tell me about your hobbies
I love music, I cannot stop going to concerts and buying vinyl and clothes which are an incurable addiction from my very young age, I have always been a large-scale consumer of clothes. But my greatest hobby is classic bikes, especially Vespas … I usually travel every weekend to places in Spain where people organize rallies, to show off my little one, to ride it and discover new roads, to meet some friends and especially I like to enjoy the weekend being away from the monotony of the week.

How do you define your personal style?
I am very classic but modern, I love punkrock style and that’s how I dress. But then I am ultra classic, lol … I like contradiction.

How do you like to surround yourself at home?

With Vinyl, movies, books and of course my boyfriend. I like a lot being home, I love winter evenings spent on the sofa, with a blanket and watching a movie.

What is your favorite perfume?
It is an old perfume that I cannot get rid of it, it’s called She by Armani. And for every day I use the colony Dulces, a baby perfume that transmits peace and tranquility from the first drop.

Must go in Madrid

I love Malasaña and La Latina.
A groovy place to have a vermouth in Malasaña is Casa San Andres, Calle Camacho, 4, Madrid. Owned by two super- nice old people, they serve snacks and you can spend hours there, just talking. And for my beloved La Latina  : La Ricla, Calle de los Cuchilleros, 6, Madrid. It is owned by two brothers and their mother … and their BullDog. They usually serve delicious sausage.
